Margaret takes the Bitrex Taste Test

Jun. 29th 2016

Margaret met with the Child Accident Prevention Trust in the parliament yesterday during Child Safety Week this year.

As part of the Trust’s exhibition, they encouraged MSPs to try the Bitrex Taste Test.

The below photo shows Margaret’s reaction! It’s the bitterest taste in the world (according to the Guinness Book of Records)  which helps prevent accidental poisonings in the under 5’s.

North Lanarkshire Carers AGM

Jun. 14th 2016

A large turnout at North Lanarkshire Carers Together AGM. It was great to see familiar faces and listen to the very informative speeches by Claire Cairns (Coalition of Carers in Scotland) and Stephen Kerr (Head of Health, Health and Social Care, North Lanarkshire, NHS Lanarkshire). Chaired by the wonderful Liz Seaton.
